I am having the same exact problem with mine, i have used real player/download ever since windows 98, and since ive had it on Win 7 Ultimate, it has worked just fine, it downloads in MP4 format or FLV format (depending on the video) until just about a week ago. I downloaded some videos off of You Tube, and for some reason they all downloaded in MP4, and when i went to watch them later, (i think it was actually VLC that told me) but it said that 2 of them had no video in them, and just like you, Real player wont play them, VLC won't either, or FLV player, Windows Media won't, DivX won't or Quick Time. So im starting to think maybe its a You Tube problem???
