Gta Vice City Gta3 Img File: Full Version Software
' date='May 15 2003,16:33'] ha. And you would call it.? Coloring, maybe.
An adf is an mp3 with a nice shade of green. Er, I mean 0x22 applied to it. If you look at an ascii dump of an adf, it looks just like an ascii dump of a regular mp3, just using different characters. This is fairly apparent in the first 2kb of VCPR.adf (Especially the first 40 bytes.).
Well, if you're familiar with what an mp3 file can look like. Or maybe it's just me.
GTA San Andreas PC Game is an open world game, and it will be providing a huge amount of varieties to the new and old players of the GTA series like GTA 3 and GTA Vice City. There a lot of new buildings, cityscapes, vehicles and now the players have more control in the game.
The first time I looked an adf I thought, 'Man, this is an mp3 file, just with wacky characters.' The documentation is pretty shoddy. So I got creative.
I wanted to create an mp3 of flashfm so I did the following. -Copied the flash.adf file from the audio folder to the folder with vicesimius - made a shortcut to vicesimius in the same folder - right click the shortcut pick properties then click the program tab - then I added flash.adf to the end of the cmd line so it looks like this: D: DOCUME~1 Cory Desktop VICESI~1.ALT VICESI~1 VICESI~1.EXE flash.adf click the shortcut and you're good to go it takes maybe 3seconds, and I'm playing the mp3 right now good stuff. The documentation tells you everything you need to know. It's a simple converter. It doesn't even need the output filename. You just run it with the name of the.adf file as a command line parameter. That's all there's to it.
Perhaps it's mystifying to those born in the windoze era, but I cannot know that. (For the unfortunate souls who actually struggle to use the windoze exploder to work with files - get a decent file manager. From www.farmanager.com, for instance.) I rewrote this a little, and submitted the updated, final version to GTAWIP. The most important change is the automatic naming of the output file (KCHAT.ADF -> KCHAT.MP3).
Ok, I just added the two updated files. I noticed that you labeled one of them final, so I will be deleting the other two shortly. I'm also assuming that you, jerryking, and Jaromir Krol are all the same guy? Just wondering which name I should put down as author. Certainly ) They are: - my nickname here - the name of the e-mail account - my name The version of the program which is 75226 bytes long is the final one.
At least the final so far. It names the output file automatically now, and works faster than the previous one. I don't think there is anything else that should be added. Perhaps an easier way to do the MP3->'ADF' conversion (if you run the program on an.mp3, it will 'convert' it into the 'ADF format' - so to say - since it's just the same simple encryption, but because of the way file extensions are handled by the program, the input MP3 cannot have an.mp3 extension - perhaps I'll change that, if I feel like doing it ). Will it be possible to take a mp3 file and make it into.adf format that would be really nice!
This version can 'convert' an MP3 into this ADF 'format' - as I said, using VA on an MP3 file will result in an output file which will be 'encrypted' like the original ADFs, but because the extension is handled automatically by the program, you cannot run it on a file with an '.mp3' extension - it must be different (That is because if you were to run 'VA.exe MyFaveMusic.mp3', the program would try to read from *and* write to the file 'MyFaveMusic.mp3' at the same time, which wouldn't be very healthy for it:-D). The temptations cloud nine rarely. I might even fix that, but would anyone really need it?
